CO-BRANDED TWITTER ACTIVATION
Crest approached Refinery29 to create a custom program to help them stay top-of-mind during the 2016 Grammys and collect emails for future below-the-line marketing.
WHAT WE DID
Knowing that Twitter traffic spikes during major televised awards shows, I concepted the #StrikeASmile Twitter activation, a socially led sweepstakes that gives followers a chance to be live-illustrated onto the red carpet during the Grammys. All they had to do enter the sweepstakes online and tag both @Crest and @Refinery29 in a Twitter selfie.
In a few hours, we received over 900 submissions, increasing followers for both @Crest and @Refinery29 and helping to own the #StrikeASmile hashtag.
