THE CHALLENGE

The Warriors’ 2018 Christmas Day game versus the Lakers was set to bring in massive ratings; they were up against Lebron James for the first time post-Cavaliers. Naturally, we wanted to capitalize on the inevitable highlights videos that would emerge.

The catch: They wanted us to connect Dropbox and the Warriors without mentioning any names, applying any logos, or using game footage. Even though Dropbox is a sponsor!

WHAT WE DID

Using Dropbox’s distinctive illustration style and the Warriors’ team colors, we mixed basketball-related illustrations and clever copy to connect their campaign message to moments in a game.
